Summary
From his Peridean throne, Lord Thrawn issues an edict: find Shin Hati, the Sun Wolf who stole the key to his superweapon. This sets dangerous factions on a mad chase to find her first: the Inquisitorius, elite wolf hunters; Morgan, the witch queen of Faerie; and Baylan Skoll, a Moon Wolf who had once protected Shin. Alone and tired, Shin enters Garel hoping for respite, only to be captured by a purple-haired Mandalorian hell-bent on retribution — Sabine Wren. Realizing that they share a common enemy, the two embark on a journey to recover what they thought they'd lost forever: self, love, family, and, of course, the stolen weapon.

Shin and Sabine have led very different lives on two very different continents, but are, in many ways, mirrors of each other. By coincidence, or fate, their paths converge and they are thrown into close quarters. What happens when they're forced to confront their inner demons in order to work together? (Ahsoka and part of the Ghost crew will make an appearance in the second half.)

She lowered the lid of the refresher, gesturing for Shin to sit down. Shin complied. Her body brushed against Sabine's and she moved past her and she could feel the blood rush to her cheeks almost instantly.

Summary
