“I have work to do,” Kylo reminded her. Then, with a wolfish grin, he added, “I can’t stay on top of you twenty-four-seven, sweet thing.”
“Don’t call me that.”
“Why not?” Kylo asked. Rey kept shooting down the nickname but he saw the way her cheeks darkened. She liked it. And he was going to make her admit it. One way or another.
After Rey gets caught up in a First Order hit, Kylo Ren takes responsibility for her. What starts out as an obligation quickly transforms into something neither of them expects, but both desperately need.
