Of course he was here. Izuku had known he would be. It had actually been one of his first thoughts after receiving the agency’s invitation. Still, he had hoped to have at least one day of uninhibited excitement about this place before he inevitably showed up and ruined it.
His smile was deadly as those pointed teeth flashed in the dim light, “Hey Deku, how have you been?”

But now, starting Katsuki in the eyes, standing on his front step, Izuku Midoriya was entirely speechless. It was impossible. The world he was living in was impossible.
“Izuku…,” Katsuki said slowly. “What’s up?”

He’s exhausted but he can’t stay asleep. Flashes of the nightmare he just woke from flash behind his eyes and he wishes he could forget what he had seen just like he had with all the others.”
Or: Izuku unknowingly gets hit with a quirk that keeps him from falling asleep. His dreams plagued with nightmares keep him from sleep until it evades him completely, leaving him desperate to get some kind of rest.
