    The words such as irreversible brain damage, spinal cord injury all went over Akira’s head. He barely listened to the doctor with eyes fixed on the small figure on the hospital bed. He couldn’t help but think that Goro finally looks peaceful. The disgusting part of him thought it might be for the better.

    Better. That’s when it dawned on him.

    Goro Akechi would never get better. Goro Akechi would spend the rest of his days confined to a hospital bed.
     

    In January of 201X, Goro Akechi is found again.

    Goro shuffled closer, curiosity as to what he was going to witness completely enveloping him. His eyes were glued to Akira as he sat slouching in his seat for several minutes.

    Goro’s breath hitched as Akira suddenly shook and jerked forward, shutting his eyes tightly. The brunette couldn't hear anything, but he could tell exactly what was happening."
