Azkaban.
There is no probation.
There is no early release.
There is no sentence to serve and then a swift return home...Azkaban - the final stop for those deemed unworthy by the Wizengamot; the end of the line; the final resting place of those marked by Voldemort's hubris. Azkaban - where Dementors no longer patrol the grounds, and yet its occupants are stripped of their happy memories all the same.
Draco is sentenced to Azkaban and slowly begins to lose the single most important memories of his short, dark life. She's the only thing that could keep the darkness at bay, and now he's slowly forgetting the color of her hair in the sunlight, the smell of her skin beneath his touch and the sound of her laugh.
