(Before the events of the play/1998 recording) Demeter and Bomballurina have escaped Macavity. Now it's up to them to figure out how to trust, love and believe in others once again. With help from their old clan, they come to realize that it isn't blood that makes a family, it's the bonds you forge that last. Starts angsty, but will have a fair amount of fluff and comfort as it goes on.

Having not been terribly satisfied with how Cats was treated as a movie, this is how one writer decided to re-imagine the screenplay, in a random giant burst of inspiration. Includes notes on the decisions made and why, as well as comparing and contrasting this with the movie we got. This could be imagined as either the animated version that we never got, or as a re-do of a live-action version.
