Summary
Life has settled. Tommy is in school, is excelling in school, both his father and brother have steady jobs to support their little family of three. Their house is clean, safe, and always has dinner at the end of the day. Tommy is happy, because today is the same as yesterday is the same as the day before, and life is predictable and secure.
But not all are so patient with sameness. Wilbur has a dream: to write opera, to write something that will be remembered for ages to come. It should have been a harmless dream, but for a man used to nothing but being no one, the idea of being someone is an epiphany.
Life has settled, but it becomes unsettled twice as fast.

Summary
Seven years alone changed a person.
Technoblade was more resilient than he had ever been, more satisfied than he had ever been, and most of all, content. He taught himself to bind books, to fix the heater when it broke, to tend to plants and have the patience to wait for flowers. He fished better once it was a necessity, he did everything better once it was a necessity.
He watched the ocean in silence for seven years, growing himself a garden of stability and conscientiousness as well as vegetables, and the endless waves in every direction cradled him like a warm blanket. It was quiet, and more importantly, dependable.
At least, until a boy arrived dripping on his metaphoric doorstep.
(or, Techno's life is disrupted by a kid who has a lot of trouble on his heels)

Summary
Somewhere along the coast of Britain is a small town called Snowchester. In this town, there is a lighthouse, where a man lives with his little brother. He didn't always live alone. But the sea is cyclic - it takes what it gives.
Every morning Tubbo watches the dawn hatch in the sky, the egg-yolk sun pooling on the horizon. He watches the tides roll in and out. He takes care of the lighthouse and Michael and pretends this is how things are supposed to be.
He pretends he has gained more than he has lost.
or, a 1940s AU where I try to make miscommunication (as a plot-driver) actually good.
