I'm confused at first, peering down the bar to see - goddamn - the most beautiful human I’ve ever laid eyes on. A large fucking man with big arms, short blond hair, and one of those faces that causes your insides to flipflop the longer you look. I can’t see his eye color from here, but they look dark in the light of the pub.
This was not part of my plan.
“Um,” I say because I’ve never really been in this position before and I don’t know what the protocol is.
The hunk of delicious looking man-meat is looking at me, setting my insides on fire with lust.

or: Eddie accepts a dare to compliment Richie a hundred times, not knowing that along the way he’ll discover how much he likes it when Richie degrades him in return – maybe a little too much.
