Wei Ying grabs Nie Huaisang’s wrist and turns him to look him in the eye. “What? What have you gotten into this time?” His tone is teasing but Lan Zhan can hear the undercurrent of concern.
“I really haven’t done anything, I swear!” he says, wiping at the tears on his face with his sleeve. “I don’t know anything about it only…”
“Yes?” Wei Ying prompts him.
Huaisang takes a deep, shaky breath before continuing, “Only I think I’m going to be arrested for murder!”
It is then that the buzzer rings.

Wei Ying mysteriously reappears in Lan Zhan's life, bringing with him a flurry of chaos. Nie Huaisang has been arrested for murder and Wei Ying is determined to prove him innocent. Lan Zhan offers him a place to stay in more ways than one.
