Summary
At some point, Caitlyn needed to settle the score with the wealth of pet names Vi had for her, ESPECIALLY after the mongoose comment, so she began experimenting. The words just rolled off her lips: my dear, sweetie, darling. All apt descriptions, if she did say so herself. So what if each time, Vi would stutter and stare and flush so deeply that her cheeks matched her hair? It made Caitlyn’s stomach turn into a warm pit, and she needed just the right word to get the most consistent effect from her girlfriend. Luckily, she was a woman of science, and this experiment is very humane. And although Vi may complain, she definitely would not protest. Caitlyn was sure of it.
Or, author tried really, really hard not to do a 3 1, but it was calling their name, pun intended.

Summary
Despite being an insomniac, Vi dutifully goes to bed every night with Caitlyn. However, that provides her ample time to her own thoughts, mainly if she is doing enough as a girlfriend. Such thoughts gradually morph to how much she absolutely adores her girlfriend. And although she may spend hours on end simply doing nothing but bask in the presence of her girlfriend on those lazy mornings, Vi really wouldn't trade it for anything else.

Summary
Summoning demons was questionable decision-making at best. Summoning demons as part of medical diagnostics is probably only something a desperate man would consider, and Dr. William Andrew Solace is indeed desperate. Unfortunately, the demon he summoned was not the desired demon. (Not that there is such thing a desired demon, but more of a less undesired demon.) Now, Will has to make do with the bitingly sharp-tongued and extremely disagreeable Niccolò di Angelo to therapeutically--and safely... ideally--possess his patients. As they leave satisfied patients and confused administrators in their wake, their relationship might progress past simply demon and human into friendship and something more. Perhaps. Mayhaps? He IS cute.

Summary
There are specialized tattoos that show when you're falling in love and when you've fallen in love with your soulmate. They were a nuisance, for anyone honestly and especially for a spy. Loid did his best to hide his feelings from his new family of convenience, but when his feelings were quite literally on his sleeve, there was only so much a man could do. As his 'daughter' and 'wife' began to catch wind, Loid became desperate to keep the family he hadn't even wanted in the first place.

“Please, Caitlyn,” Vi whispers. The levity doesn’t last long. She’s begging, pleading, holding the glass an inch from Caitlyn’s dry, cracked lips. “I need you to—shit, I just need you. Everything’s so fucked up. I’ve come back to a world I wish I didn’t recognise, and everything’s gone. Everything and everyone. And then you, you appeared out of nowhere, like there’s still some good left in this shitty, uncaring world, and I just—please. Just a sip. For me?”
Caitlyn’s eyes focus on the still water within the glass. Vi presses the chipped rim to Caitlyn’s mouth and tilts it back, water touching her lips, and Caitlyn finally moves.
Lifting a hand, she knocks the glass across the room. It shatters into three large pieces and a thousand tiny shards.
Vi lifts her hands. She wants to curl them into fists, to beat the ground, to twist them in her hair and scream; she wants to cradle Caitlyn’s face, letting her feel the gentle warmth on the dirt covering her skin, and the skin beneath the dirt.

When Caitlyn releases one hand to cup under Vi’s jaw, tilting her head up until their noses are brushing— she knows this is where they’re going to meet their destiny: on a path forked like a snake’s tongue. For better or for worse.
“Why have we never kissed?” Caitlyn asks, mouths so close that Vi can feel her words.
Vi’s fist tightens on her back, crumpling the material of her tank top in it. “Because we shouldn’t.”

Summary
“Looking hot, cupcake,” Vi says, proud of herself for not sounding as breathless as she feels. Then she busies herself with rinsing her teeth and toothbrush, because her cheeks are definitely hot, and she doesn’t want Cait to see it.
She doesn’t want her to see, because she doesn’t want to muck things up between them. She would never forgive herself if she made something happened between them, and then it didn’t work out. She doesn’t want to lose Cait. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to her.
Besides, Cait is straight, so there’s that.
