He’ll always remember that sweet boy with the sunny freckles, grinning at him and promising they’d get married someday.

Genius plotline, wonderfully written. It's kind of like a mirror of the movie. This second movie they're making is basically an echo of their own lives/how they want it to be. Pure genius. Realised this halfway through reading it and it blew my mind.
