With a sigh, Bradley walked further into the apartment. It didn't take him long to find Jake, there, sitting cross-legged in the bedroom, with Brisket playfully jumping all over him. He paused in the doorway with a sinking feeling in his heart the more he watched the scene - not because he didn’t like the dog, but because he was starting to feel a little bit like a third wheel.
