Tall oak double doors stood as the barrier between the outside and in of the building housing her - very near - future place of work. A very large building, almost castle-like in nature on the outskirts of London, with a sign reading “New Recruit Orientation” and an arrow pointing to the left side of the building where she could see an array of flowers around a smaller, single doorframe. She walks over to the flower-rimmed door that’s been propped open and enters the building.

"most of them deserved it. I mean, you’d never guess it now, but it’s not all making cheating penises fall off and turning French guys into frogs,” she said, her voice taking on a bit of an edge. Spike got why—that can’t have been something the slayer and her lot understood. Demons were bad and humans were good, and they didn’t like to look much closer. Anya was one of them despite, and not because of how she’d started.
