Summary
After the gilded banquet massacre, the Guoshi Fangxin was defeated and buried in a coffin of 3 layers, a holly stake through his heart. Lang Qianqiu then a few years later ascended, becoming a god and over time the place of the coffin was forgotten.
100 years later a village was built on top, and every night they hear screams coming from the forest, a clearing where nothing dared grow.
200 years later was then the prayers started, wanting to get rid of the screams, not wanting to live of cursed grounds. Children could barely sleep, and the elderly kept saying they heard the words help me.
300 years later was the first sighting of Crimson Rain Sought Flower in the area. Only then did the heavens seem to look at the village, hearing their prayers.
376 years later was when the Heavenly Emperor decided to send people to help, to see what Crimson Rain Sought Flower was doing there and collect this 'haunted coffin' from the ground.
They did not know what was there. And who was buried in the coffin.
