"Can I ask you somethin'?" Jonny asked, his mouth working overtime to get his words in order. Nastya looked over to him, eyes drooping. She nodded.
"D'ya think they remember? 'Member us?" He leaned in closer to his crewmate, a question meant for her ears only. Nastya was used to Jonny’s dramatic, self-pitying talks at this point. He enjoyed a good heartbreak, a tale of tragedy to deal with how shit his ending was. She rolled her eyes and flopped back into her sofa crease.
But she thought about it. Nastya took a breath.
Or: Nastya and Jonny find ways to remember each other, if ever they must seperate. Thankfully, immortality will stop that possibility from ever happening. Right?
