Even sick from the poison and afraid she's going to die, Chloe tries to be strong... until she can't anymore. She asks Lucifer to sit with her for a minute, and there, alone with him, she can finally let her true feelings show.
Lucifer never expected anyone to turn to him for comfort, but Chloe does. He's reminded all over again of just how vulnerable they can be with each other.

By the time they get back to the car, they’re both shivering. Chloe’s leather jacket is no match for the freezing cold. She’s eager to crank up the heat in her cruiser to get warm and toasty again.

A few days before Christmas, Chloe and Lucifer take a road trip to a property Lucifer got in a deal. A blizzard rolls in and their only chance for not freezing to death is to take shelter in a small cabin. The situation devolves quickly. And there's a deer that seems to be stalking them.

Shortly after the Sinnerman has been killed and Chloe Decker has fled the country (much to the annoyance of the relevant authorities as there is an ongoing murder and corruption investigation, and she was engaged to the main perpetrator...), Lucifer is called into the precinct to go over his statement with the FBI again.
Whilst there, he receives a very unexpected visitor, with a VERY unexpected message.
Something is wrong, and God is shocked by how many of his pieces are out of place when he bothers to pay attention again. Can Lucifer figure out what is going on and find Michael before something catastrophic happens?
Everything about Chloe and Pierce is freaking him out, but Lucifer is about to have much bigger issues than a silly little detective who wouldn't recognise the truth if it danced naked in front of her face… (Which, incidentally, the Devil has done.
