Nan felt suddenly lightheaded and her vision blurred. She could hear Gelgar saying something else insipid, but he sounded far away.
His blurred outline began to fall away with the sound of his voice. Nan felt her knees buckle. Her head swam. Gravity took over.
Before she could even brace for impact, Nanaba felt a solid arm across her back catching her mid fall. She blinked rapidly, trying to force the world back into focus. Though she still couldn’t see the features clearly, Nan immediately recognized the broad man’s stature, his smell, his touch. Mike.

After the Battle of Trost, Mike’s Squad is in charge of keeping the 104th cadet corps occupied. During a grueling training session, Nanaba ignores her body’s cries for rest until she physically cannot any longer. Thankfully, her squad leader is familiar with her tendency towards hyper independence and personally sees to it that she’s taken care of.

“Ijichi-san?!”
Ijichi heard his name at precisely the same moment as the door swung open. It hit the two things that were protruding out the most, his forehead and his precious cup of coffee. Ijichi gasped involuntarily, sloshing the hot liquid up onto his chest.
“Ijichi-san!” The door opened the rest of the way to reveal a petite woman in a dark suit. “Oh shit!”
“N… Nitta-kun?” Ijichi winced. It wasn’t a large spill, just enough that he could feel the dark stain on his white button-up start to burn the skin beneath.
“Shi- Shoot!” Nitta corrected, rushing forward and took the cup from her superior’s hand. “I am so, so sorry!”

As assistant director at Jujutsu High School, it is Ijichi Kiyotaka's responsibility to coordinate auxiliary managers and sorcerers alike to exorcise curses as safely and efficiently as possible. Though best laid plans sometimes go awry and this morning has been particularly rough for Ijichi. As a series of unfortunate events unfold, coffee stains on his work shirt become the least of his worries.

“Alright, now we will head to campus Inumaki-kun,” Ijichi informed his passenger as he started the engine. “It will take some time with the afternoon traffic so please, go ahead and have your onigiri.”
The boy in the mirror simply looked down at his snack, holding it carefully between his small hands.
“I won’t tell anyone I allowed food in the car, as long as you don’t.” Ijichi attempted humor. Not that the boy knew about the manager’s rules. All he got was a side-eye for his efforts. Ijichi agreed, he should stick to his day job and promptly focused on hitting the road.

A new auxiliary manager, Ijichi’s first solo job is to transport a young Inumaki Toge to Jujutsu High School for special training with Gojo Satoru. Riddled with the usual anxiety, Ijichi is nervous about interacting with the young boy. From their meeting, however, Ijichi is reminded why he got into this line of work supporting sorcerers and helps young Inumaki find his voice.

The narrow passage seemed to shrink with every step, the darkness closed in. His breath quickened. Tamaki’s hand instinctively reached for Mirio’s arm, fingers grasping the elbow of his costume.
“I know it's pretty spooky in here,” Mirio stated, his voice even and familiar. The sound alone made Tamaki’s breathing start to slow, his nerves to settle. Suneater realized it was probably unprofessional of him to grab his fellow hero, so he reluctantly let his hand drop. He was grateful Lemillion couldn’t see his cheeks flush in the low light.

At the start of their work studies, UA Students Suneater and Lemillion have been tasked with assisting an investigation into a series of jewelry robberies. Searching an abandoned warehouse for the thieves, Suneater is able to sense danger that his hero companions cannot. Is it his usual anxiety taking hold in a creepy dark building or is there something actually wrong? Lemillion helps him through a moment of self-doubt, letting Suneater’s unique abilities shine through.

Mike tightened his grip on her hand. “You’re… safe?”
Tears sprung to Nanaba’s eyes. “Yes, thanks to you.”
“Safe. Good.”
She nodded her head mutely, fighting back a sob forming in her throat. What was wrong with her? Being in the Scouts was tantamount to a death sentence, it was expected some of them wouldn’t return each time they left the walls. For some reason though, the thought of returning without him seemed impossible. It had been unthinkable until a few moments ago.

Mike Squad joins Hange’s on a mission beyond the walls to capture a titan specimen. Nanaba feels confident initially however, their plans quickly go pear-shaped. When Mike is badly injured, Nanaba is forced to make life-and-death decisions. Sacrificing her squad leader though is not an option, for more reasons than she realizes.

“You could take your clothes off,” Mike’s words were out of Erwin’s nightmares. “You’d be modeling naked while the class sketches you.” The bastard actually smiled. Erwin could feel the heat rising in his face.
“What? Hange, you pose nude twice a week?”
“It’s used to just be once a week but they got too popular I had to add a second session,” Nanaba answered.
Or: Erwin stands in for an injured Hange for a nude sketch class where he meets Levi, whose abrasive nature and incredible artistic talent pull in Erwin. Erwin is exactly what Levi has been looking for, he might even be the answer to all of Levi's blocked creativity.
