“Wait,” Mel gasps, pushing at Viktor’s chest as a thought strikes her. “Wait. Are you even attracted to women?”
Viktor stiffens. He pulls back and gives Mel the flattest, most cutting look she’s ever received in her life.
Slowly, pointedly, still glaring, he curls the two fingers he has inside her and presses. Mel represses a shiver as sparks soar up her spine.
“I realize that you are not a scientist, Councilor,” he says, derision dripping from every syllable, “but surely even you can come up with a reasonable hypothesis to answer that question, given the data.”
During a hot summer day, Mel visits the lab to find Viktor alone, and things get...heated.

But you never expected to end up working as a bartender at The Last Drop – having been scouted by a blue haired girl who wouldn't take no for an answer.
Neither did you expect to find yourself landed with the terrifying task of ensuring Silco's personal drinks cart is kept well stocked.
And you certainly never expected to find yourself inadvertently become the weekly drinking partner of the Eye of Zaun himself.

There is always strength to be rallied, if you know where to look.
It's something Silco prides himself on - the ability to build something from nothing. To materialise opportunity where others do not see it. To innovate. To flip the gambits on any game to his favour, no matter how dire the match may seem.
And so, he never expected to find himself so distracted by something as trivial as a new, whip-tongued bartender.
Neither did he expect that his intrigue might be reciprocated.
And he certainly never expected to form a bond so deep that it calls into question the fears of his past.
