In those days, I had walked beside you as I intertwined your rough, labor-worn servo with mine: pampered and peppered with privileged papercuts. Our digits would touch each other, and I would trace over your scars, admiring each crooked reminder of pain as if I could soothe the hurt from years away. You released me in favor of pulling me closer and cupping my face. I wonder if you could feel my spark whirling wilding in my chamber and if you thought I was afraid. I hope you know my rapid pulse was never from any fear- only hunger for more than just your hand on my cheek and your fingers interlaced with mine.

Summary
All Ratchet wanted to for most of his life was fight for the betterment of the society he lived in. He fought tooth and nail to become one of Cybertron’s top doctors and he accomplished one of his life long goals of running a fully operational clinic that caters to the masses with no discrimination. He’s convinced to run for a Senate seat by the people he treats and he does it and wins. But politicians don’t trust people who do good for the sake of good, so the trap Ratchet in a corner and he ends up in an arranged bond with the newest Prime.
