Summary
Saphyra wakes to find herself beyond the rift in the First. Both the Crystal Exarch and Emet Selch scheme to influence the Warrior of Light during her journey for the salvation of the First, but only one can succeed. Scarred by the losses in her past and angered by the summoning of the Scions she has finally come to call her friends, the conflict between her love for the Star and her wounded soul that made her aggressive and more selfish will rage on. Saphyra will have to make sacrifices she does not understand yet and tip the scales as she begrudgingly takes up the mantle of the Warrior of Darkness.
