Summary
After the battle against the diamond weapon, the Warrior of Light finds Gaius van Baelsar drinking alone and decides to join him.
They are trying to get over the past but it's hard.
This is intended to be a character study of my warrior of light in a really low moment. She has just returned from the First after the events of Shadowbringers and she is really going through a lot.
It's also a prequel of "The fury has forsaken us all". -

Summary
My personal fanfiction series, primarily centered on the experience of my Warrior of Light in Final Fantasy XIV, A Realm Reborn.
Originally prompted as an outpouring of emotion and thought on the outcome of the patch 5.3 MSQ, I have gradually developed this series into an unfolding story discussing themes of memory, identity, reconciliation, redemption and the soul. Exploration of the relationship between Sarah Corehealer, my character, and Emet-Selch/Hades, the Angel of Truth and lover of Sarah in her prior life as Azem, the Traveler. And exploration of the character of Emet-Selch in contrast to her and other characters in the series such as her fellow Scions of the Seventh Dawn.
My primary contribution to the Ascian fandom, as well as the means by which I can express my feelings regarding Emet and my desire to put him into romantic, erotic and philosophical situations. I plan to release other small works alongside this one with time, and update this going forward as the game plot develops through the end of Shadowbringers and beyond.

He fantasizes - and that is all he can think to call it - of returning to House Borel with flowers from Dravania. Cooking a breakfast for Aymeric. Confessing his feelings and actually having them come across as he means for them to. Aymeric returning his feelings, confessing his own, of them moving beyond this - this awful 'only physical' barrier Estinien had put up in his youth.
