"The first time Jaskier hears about Geralt being held captive, he is about to go to sleep in a princess’s bed."
It has been two years since Geralt left Jaskier on a mountain after blaming him for everything that's wrong with his life. Since then, Jaskier has been doing his best to avoid the Witcher, and has succeeded so far. But when he hears that Geralt has been arrested by the king of Brugge in mysterious circumstances, Jaskier knows he can't pretend that all that tied him to the Witcher has faded into oblivion.
