Truth be told, Yohan isn’t sure what he’s doing. Vengeance is so much easier when you don’t care whether or not you survive the endeavor, Yohan thinks more than once, clicking his pen in irritated mindlessness and staring unreading at the documents in front of him. But Yohan knows the depths of pain that loss brings, especially such needless loss. And he could never allow Gaon or Elijah to reach the depths he had sunk to for comfort.

That voice. One of familiar comfort and a grounding that he needed because he had been lost for too long.
'Chief... you need to wake up!'
The urgency in the voice pulled him from his depth. It was a realisation that he could not comprehend. It couldn't be. Flashes of a distant past pushed through his fogginess, and he felt pain and anguish gathering in his heart.
Forcing his eyes to open slowly, a figure came into his peripheral vision. It was bent over him like a shadow. Still, his vision refused to clear and he felt tormented.
'Listen to me. You are in real danger. You need to wake up'
Why? How?
Yohan wanted to speak but no words came as they lay trapped in his throat.
'I can't answer any of that. I want you to know that I don't blame you

Just watched The Devil Judge series and thought it's time to write another bl ff since the 2 male characters are so cute and emotional roller coaster material at the same time.
The story continues from the end of Season 1 where our lovely boys parted ways. Hopefully we get Season 2!
