Izuku"s five, and he doesn’t really understand much about romance, but Mama says marrying someone is the best way to tell them you love them. Somehow, his smile widens even more as he nods, saying, “Okay, Kacchan! When you become the number one, I’ll marry you for sure!” It’s a promise. When Katsuki becomes the number one hero, Deku is going to marry him.
Fast forward twenty years and Izuku is more than a little shocked to find Ground Zero, number one hero, on his doorstep. Even worse is finding out the childhood friend he thought abandoned him and the hero he"s got a crush on are the same person. What is his life?

Summary
It’s been a year since the final, decisive battle and Katsuki’s going to beat the shit out of that damn nerd when he finds him. Izuku Midoriya went missing eleven months ago and with the rebuilding efforts after a near total societal collapse, progress on finding him has been slow. But Katsuki’s been looking, and now he has a lead on a certain green-haired freak living out in the boonies. If it’s Izuku, and it better fucking be Izuku, Katsuki’s going to kill him, beat the shit out of him, and tell him everything he couldn’t say a year ago. Not necessarily in that order.
Canon divergence where rebuilding society is a slow, painful slog, they don’t go back to school, and everything’s just harder (or, where I ignore most of the Epilogue Arc and pick fights with the rest).

“He left.”
Izuku froze and his eyes widened, “Left? W-what’d you mean he left?” Izuku whispered. He heard Ochaco sigh through the other side, “He—Bakugou took a mission and left for America I think two days ago. Deku-kun, he’s—he’s gonna be gone for seven to eight months,” she said quietly.
“W-why didn’t—he left? This doesn’t—” Izuku started feeling his throat close up, “This doesn’t make sense, Kacchan always tells me—he does—he tells me everything then why?” he whispered, his voice shaking while he tried to hold back tears.
Izuku struggles with the fact that he"s not a hero anymore and he does his best to make do with what he has and decided to become a teacher and after eight long years of finally being able to reconcile with Ochaco, he"s noticed how absent Katsuki"s being with him and finds out soon after from Ochaco that Katsuki decided to take a eight month long mission to America without telling him and Izuku is left to figure out his feelings on his own

But the God rethinks her decision when Izuku walks away from Katsuki one cold night, outside an izakaya.

But this was no typical thief. An ordinary thief didn"t have a scent that made his knees weak, made his eyes tear up as he realized for the first time in six fucking months he could breathe, the bite mark on the side of his neck throbbing in the presence of the alpha that had left it. An ordinary thief wouldn"t have stood at his entrance, eyes soft and smile genuine, arms reaching out to hold him. An average thief wouldn"t say his name in such a way that sent his heart racing, making his child, their child, flip within his womb.
Because standing before him was no normal thief.
"You came back," Izuku choked out, his knife falling to his side, from his hands, clattering to the wooden floor they"d both built.
"Deku," Katsuki purred, "I came home."
"Get out of my den, Bakugou."
