Summary
The bouquet was built of yellow wattle, the flowers like little balls of fluff, along with a mix of muted and bright purple lavender, a sprinkling of forget-me-nots, and white jasmine.
Sasuke passed the dice back to Naruto and walked over to the kitchen counter to touch the flowers. He liked how the wattle smelled like honey and wood, how the puffed flowers were soft beneath his fingertips.
He glanced back at the real Naruto, who was looking at him all stupid and fond again.
This house, this day . . . it was calm.
Sasuke and Naruto have a day off and spend a lazy summer afternoon together in their apartment, indulging in the quiet contentment of life, love, and creative clone sex.
