Summary
Sukuna's resurrection happened much earlier (And off screen, sorry). Satoru was able to defeat the king of curses, but the excess cursed energy from the battle combined. Causing a certain pink-haired boy to be born.
An alternate timeline where Mahito and his gang are the main villains, Sukuna acts more like the uncle he's supposed to be (He's still shitty), Suguru and Nanami act as proper parents (To kids that sorely need it), and maybe in the future some angst, but obviously lots of fluff! (Hopefully).

Sighting of a demon has been seen in a small village. Rengoku is sent to take care of it and told that another Hashira will be joining him. He finds out the demon only goes after couples. He hopes the Hashira that will join him is easy to get along.
He is not expecting Tomioka.
He is also not expecting to let him allow Rengoku be close to him.
He finds more about Tomioka during those a nights than he ever has in the past years.

Rengoku Kyojuro is the perfect pillar. Not only is he among the strongest there ever was, a flawless master of his breathing style, but his heart is molten gold blazing brighter than starlight.
Tomioka Giyuu, on the other hand, does not deserve to be a pillar. He is a constant flux of conflicting sensations, of inner turmoil, ever turbulent.
Of course he harbours blooming feelings for the flame Hashira, yearning to be like him as much as to be with him, for who wouldn’t? Yet, Giyuu knows better than to act upon his heart’s desires, refusing to drag Rengoku down with him like he dragged everyone close to him to their demise.
