Summary
A year and a half has passed since journalist Sasuke Uchiha profiled country music star Naruto Uzumaki in Japan. Their brief but intense romantic relationship remains a fond memory: a story bathed in neon light and laughter and sometimes-not-terrible country music.
When Naruto reappears in Sasuke's New York life suddenly, even though so much has changed in their lives, they find themselves falling back into eachother as if unchanged by time.
But even if things in the US continue to go well, the responsibilities Sasuke left in Japan are still waiting for him. And Sasuke is pulled even further in different directions, wrestling between the different silos and dichotomies of his life: dreams or obligations, New York or Japan, Itachi or the Uchiha, dissidence or promises. Love and banter only make those decisions more complicated.
