Velvet gasped, sitting forward abruptly, his eyes snapping wide.
“Fuck!” He blurted, slumping against the wall again, bracing himself against it and wheezing for breath. “Oh fuck, fuck fuck fuck… oh fuck.”
“You good?” Sam asked. He’d pulled off his helmet and undercap, revealing his scruffy blond hair and furrowed brow.
“Yeah,” Velvet groaned.
Just then, the inner door of the shuttle airlock opened, and Boomer poked his head through, with a cheerful grin.
“Great to see you’re not dead, man!” He remarked. “Good news: We’ve got life support and radar scanners. Bad news: Welcome to Casa La Middle Of Fuckin’ Nowhere, guys! Population? Us!”

Or, in other words, an unforeseen accident during what should’ve a simple repair job on the Sol-Alpha Centauri wormhole portal leaves the Pummel Party crew stranded on an alien moon, far out in space with little hope of rescue.
Velvet, a satellite technician who’s never touched a book on alien species that didn’t come from the shitty erotica section in the back of the bookstore, gets a lot more than he bargained for.

"Hey, can you keep a secret?" Ritsu asks.
He and Shou are sitting in the grass, the park nearly empty in the early evening. Shou is curled around his sketchbook, drawing idly while Ritsu lies back a few feet away, staring at the dark blue sky.
“Sure.”
“I think I have a crush on Teru-kun.”
Shou’s pencil bursts into flame, but he quickly snuffs it out. “Why… do you think that?”

Shou narrows his eyes. He gives Teru a long, lingering look, like he’s sort of angry that he’s right. “Okay,” he says, clapping his hands together so loud it makes Teru jump in his seat, “So this is a date!”
