Summary
He’d always been a happy kid. The comment was often thrown his mothers way while he was growing up. And it was true. Johnny could always be found running about, laughing and giggling often at nothing throughout his formative toddler years. No one really questioned it when he was caught reaching for nothing, babbling softly at the walls or staring intently off into the distance, pulling faces, smiling.
It became a lot more concerning when he was six and having full-blown conversations with his nan. Who had died, three years before he was born.

Soap can see the dead, and Ghost is literally haunted by his past.

Simon “Ghost” Riley is a lonely motherfucker. If he had it his way, he’d never leave base. But, Price, for whatever reason, thinks that two weeks alone in his own flat every few months is good for his mental health, or whatever. Ghost thinks it's bullshit. Price doesn’t care either way. He’s still sent ‘home.’
