Summary
When Katie Evans is offered a job by Stanley Edgar, the president of Vought himself, she eagerly accepts, grateful for the opportunity--not knowing it will be as the personal assistant to Soldier Boy, recently returned to the modern world after decades of imprisonment.
He's abrasive, temperamental and possibly insane--all while behaving as if he's still in 1944, which creates it's own unique set of problems within their dynamic.
It doesn't matter, though--despite how difficult Soldier Boy makes it, she is determined to keep her job and succeed--even if it kills her...
...Which it just might.
