Gaara looks up from the bottles casting liquid pools of gold on the vanity to Lee’s face. His cheeks are slightly flushed across the high bones there, his eyebrows canted nervously like he’s afraid he’s said too much.
“You think I smell good,” Gaara says. It isn’t a question, but he’d like to hear Lee repeat it nonetheless.
After they move in together, Gaara introduces Lee to some Sunan traditions.
