Summary

Recently orphaned Sakura realizes the bridge between her teammates and captain is too strong to bear. With nothing keeping her in Konoha, she leaves them behind without looking back.
In other words, Sakura is the one to leave the village instead of Sasuke, and the rest of the world gets to deal with the aftermath.

Summary
She’s under Neji's command, which apparently means she’s under the Hyuuga’s command. The Hyuuga’s role is on the frontlines, but Neji must be special for a kid from the branch family, because they mostly send him and Sakura out after the big battles are done, to pick off the wounded, and burn bodies.
Sakura kind of wishes she had someone to keep her from the big fights, too. Her job is with Neji, taking back kekkei genkai and retrieving important people’s bodies, but she has other assignments, too. She’s given a dull kunai and told to go through the battlefield, dodging blows and jutsus from friend and foe, slashing at whatever isn’t wearing a Konoha headband.
(the third shinobi war doesn't end, dragging on for years. konoha is running out of troops, and unimportant children in the academy with even a modicum of talent are snatched up to the warfront. sakura, unfortunately, is one of them. so is neji.)

Summary
There’s a scar on the boy's forehead in the shape of a lightning bolt. The skin is irritated and red, like it was freshly carved into his skin. She swallows and crouches down. The boy (Harry -- Harry Potter, oh gods) looks back at her, frightened, alone, put outside the bedroom like unwanted trash.
“Mama?” he says, lower lip wobbling. She shakes her head. His breath catches as he whimpers, “Dada? Paddy?”
“No, Harry,” she says gently. She reaches out and pulls him into her lap where Dudley is now sleeping. “I’m your aunt, your mother’s sister.” She swallows again. “Your Aunt Petunia.”
