Summary
There’s been a murder at the Sunnydale hospital and Faith has disappeared. An open and shut case for the Scoobies.
They don’t have time for this. The Initiative’s monster is already an unwanted distraction from the real threat, they don’t need a third problem! For in a world where the Council’s perfect slayer rose as a slaypire distractions are deadly. Especially now that Kendra can open a Hellmouth at her leisure.
But this problem might also be an opportunity. As Giles points out, this might finally allow them to make progress against Kendra. While Buffy agrees that they need to stop Kendra as soon as possible she does have doubts. For despite everything that has happened she still feels bad about how things went between her and Faith.
Of course, nothing ever goes as planned for the Scoobies and certainly not for Buffy. Not all things are what they first appear to be and there are enemies that none of them recognize as such... the Scoobies and Buffy are in for some nasty surprises.
