Sydney is going to do it.
She has to.
This is the only way she’s going to stay sane and save whatever relationship she and Carmen have. She needs to leave before they burn down for good.
The thick paper stack in her hands feels too solid, a heavy reminder, and this Shapiro guy is smiling at her all excited and oblivious to her inner turmoil.
She knows Carmen will never forgive her for this, but that’s alright. He’ll get his star soon enough and then he’ll be able to look down at her and smile triumphantly as she struggles to keep her barely-business afloat.
But she will be satisfied— she knows she will be.

“What do you think?”
He pushes the dish forward, in front of her until she can’t avoid it anymore and she gapes. In front of her is a dish that looks eerily familiar, a pattern of black and white she has seen in her bathroom mirror every morning, on her head. This dish replicates her scarf— Carmen made a dish out of her scarf. A beautiful glossy reduced sauce with specs of white cream, dripping off the side of the beef. Suddenly, Sydney is finding it extremely hard to breathe.
She knows Carmen is still looking at her, expecting, or not, something out of her. What does he want her to say? I fucking love you?
Sydney feels her chest open and spill right onto the marble countertop, the perfect dish ruined by how much she can’t contain herself.

Summary
Denki is over for a simple cup of coffee, but he doesn’t move in a way that indicates to Izuku that he wants to leave any time soon. His movements are almost lethargic, like he’s at peace and comfortable in Izuku’s home. The sight of Denki’s slightly hunched figure, one hand cupping the large All Might mug Izuku has had since he was six and the other hand placed on the counter, fingertips gently tapping in succession to imitate the soft pitter patter of the rain against the kitchen window, causes a gentle kind of warmth to settle in Izuku‘s stomach.
(Or, Denki and Izuku have always loved each other- they've just never said it.)

The sight of the purple haired boy, rimmed lilac eyes bursting through his face, accompanied by eye bags that make him irresistibly attractive, the lip ring as distracting as his wild indigo hair, has Katsuki’s heart harshly hammering against his ribcage.
He thought he left all these stupid adolescent feelings behind.

It's his second year at UA, and Shinsou is finally, finally, transferring to the hero course. And it also doesn't matter that the longer he spends in the program, the more he can't stop thinking about a certain freckled wannabe-friend, and the more he's noticing that a certain stoic classmate is paying him a lot more attention than he'd like.

Summary
Now they’re fucking friends and the two people Katsuki has had feelings for for almost twenty years have gotten together. Somehow, every tidbit about their relationship breaks away another piece of Katsuki’s heart. He enjoys seeing them together, he isn’t jealous of either of them, he just wants to join.
It’s pure torture.
Yet, Katsuki still stands there with his hot mug of tea in hand and tries to will his gaze away from Izuku. The idiot is still talking, muttering and rambling on about how great Shinsou is and how he can’t wait to tell him he loves him and how he can’t wait to ask Shinsou to move in with him if Shinsou doesn’t do it first. It’s so fucking annoying, and the lovestruck expression on Izuku’s face does nothing to ease the growing pain that he can’t be there.
Bakugou has been in love with Midoriya since they were kids and Shinsou since sometime during high school. After almost twenty years, Midoriya and Shinsou got together and both ask Bakugou for help getting ready for their one year anniversary. Little does he know that they have something else planned than getting just his help.
