Summary
Will hates it. He hates being angry, he hates not being able to let go. Most of all, he hates Percy Jackson. Some rational part of him knows it’s unfair, unfair to himself and unfair to Percy.
He can’t help it though. Every single time he looks at Percy, he thinks about Michael. About the bridge, about how there wasn’t even a fucking body to burn in the shroud. Will is reminded of how much he lost, how his siblings were just a few more dead in the overwhelming pile of bodies.
He shouldn’t feel like this, he shouldn’t be angry at Percy for something so out of his control. Being angry won’t make his siblings come back or erase the memories. Will knows the mature way to handle it is to forgive Percy, to grow around this pain and leave it in the past.

“Oh would you look at that! Harley probably set off another bomb by accident, I better go to the infirmary so someone’s there when he inevitably comes in with 3rd degree burns, right?” He didn’t wait for Chirons response, twisting out of his grip and running for the steps to the infirmary. Will slammed the door behind him before leaning against it, sliding down to the floor.
“Shit.” He muttered, running a hand through his unkempt curls. That was close.

Something had changed, this spring, and Nico found himself losing his grip to the material world, shifting into the shadows without meaning to, dropping objects and slipping through floors.
And that had been the bit Nico was less hung up on, too. What had been haunting him for the past few weeks is the discovery, made though exhausting trial and error, that the only things that helped keep him from disappearing completely were either direct sunlight, or, of course, Will Solace's ridiculous glow-in-the-dark healing powers.
