Summary
Seven years after freeing herself from a monster’s leash, Artice Ferros is attempting to heal the wounds between Piltover’s Topside and Undercity. The scars of history run deep, however, and if it isn’t the other councilors digging in their heals to stop her every step of the way, she’s also contending with The Industrialist hell-bent on creating more wounds. Even with a powerful family name, fortune, and network of spies, there’s only so much one can do.
And time’s up.
Fires of revolution surge out from the Fissures, spreading right to the council’s doorsteps. Forcing Artice to confront her own past and reckon with what it actually means to be liberated. To choose how far she’ll go to help herself and the city. Nothing can ever be easy, though, and she’ll soon find that – compared to conquering – leading and winning hearts are far harder.
Especially when trying to reach the man behind the monster.

"Say it," he commands again, leaning forward and burying his nose in Armand's hair. "Tell me what you want."
Armand swallows hard before responding. "I— I want to let go." He closes his eyes and leans into the touch. "For now, I just want to... let go."
He is almost sure Daniel is going to laugh at him, to mock him for such a weak, pathetic confession.
But he doesn't. Instead, he presses a finger on Armand's lips and smiles faintly. "That's better." His tone is almost gentle.
