Harry and Tom are entering their fifth year at Hogwarts - and Voldemort is back. More immediately, however, comes the threat of the Ministry of Magic interfering at Hogwarts, friends forced to turn against each other, and a set of new 'Educational Decrees' seemingly designed to make their lives as miserable as possible. But with a secret group of new friends and resistance fighters, a few new allies coming out of the woodwork, and the support of the Order of the Phoenix, they might just make it through - if Voldemort doesn't succeed at his own plans first, that is.

Summary

However, it seems that nothing but challenges await them in their future; with Horcruxes to collect, a frightfully clever headmaster to keep his secrets away from, and now, supposedly, Voldemort's right-hand-man (who Tom doesn't remember at all) out for Harry's blood. And that's not even counting the older version of himself, floating out there somewhere as a wraith. Luckily, Tom has Harry and Harry has Tom, and together they can surely keep each other safe.

In trying to seal himself more permanently into his new vessel, Lord Voldemort miscalculates and accidentally merges with what is left of Harry Potter.Not quite a Saviour, not quite a Dark Lord, the person claiming the name Harry Potter has to deal with pesky teenagers, hormones and headaches related to a soulbond to the unaware Lord Voldemort, who still wants him dead. Now if he could only convince his not-quite counterpart that their goals aren't that different without him being locked up once he reveals that he's a Horcrux, that would be great.

And they’re not pleasant.
When Newt accepted to become one of Harry Potter's secret guard as a favor to Albus Dumbledore, he hadn't anticipated being faced with a choice concerning the welfare and safety of a child: obey Albus Dumbledore's orders or stay at Voldemort's side to protect Harry.
Though difficult, the right choice was clear.

Harry gets hit by a killing curse and instead of dying travels to a different reality where he is the bratty husband of the Minister of Magic Tom Riddle. Harry realizes that his husband actually hates him and can barely tolerate his scandalous and petty behaviour and married him only for political connections with the Potter family. That's all good since he doesn't like Riddle either. Tom, on the other hand, is confused by his pureblood husband's new and strange behaviour.
