Summary
A Practical Magic retelling! As kids, Baz and Dev go to live with Fiona and Ebb, where they find out that for ~500 years the town has been blaming mages for anything strange in the area…including persistent rumors of winged goats.
Dev gets the free-spirited role while Baz is, ofc, the practical one who doesn’t want to fall in love and casts a spell imposing near-impossible requirements for a potential mate. Sure, goats can have wings, but who’s ever heard of them on a man?

There is nothing Simon Snow loves more in life than football. And there's really nothing in Baz Pitch's life other than football.
Baz Pitch is the star player of Mummers United FC, a low tier club he's singled-handedly put on the maps, along with the tiny northern town of Watford-on-Mummers. Simon Snow is a footie fanatic, founder of the MumU supporter section, and owner of the Sun and Goat pub. He's built a living out of watching Baz play, and it doesn't even matter that they haven't spoken since they were kids. Simon knows, no matter what, Baz Pitch is going to be the greatest player England has ever seen.
So why is Baz Pitch living in a middle terrace in the middle of nowhere, day drinking and doing (bad) yoga?

Summary
Baz just wants to make it in the art world, but finds himself struggling to find talent. One day, he finds the talent he wants, in a street artist named Snow. He will do anything to seal the deal with Snow to satisfy his buyers and to prove that he has what it takes to strike out on his own. But then he finds himself warring over his need to succeed and his desire to get close to the burgeoning artist.
Simon just wants to make art. He doesn't care if anyone likes it. It keeps his mind off things he'd rather not think about. But then a snooty gallery owner comes to court...for his collection. Simon knows that he is only getting attention for his art. He just wishes he could get attention for other things, not just for how much money his art could make.
