Summary
“Hokage-sama,” the venom in that singular word was nearly tangible, and Itachi’s voice though low was incredibly clear, his words heavy against Kakashi’s collar.
Kakashi could hardly find the brain cells to respond, overwhelming as it all was, before Itachi continued. “Is this comfortable for you?” Itachi continued in that same low tone, his nose grazing the short hairs at the back of his neck. Before Kakashi could reply Itachi leaned forward even further, his chest pressing into Kakashi over the low back of the chair, Kakashi’s torso forced forward towards the edge of his desk. He could hardly breathe now, the space tight and the anger thrumming off Itachi burning up the oxygen in the room.
“Then stop sending your lackeys to breathe down my fucking neck.”
In which a post-war, resurrected Itachi returns to Konoha and works as the International Affairs Advisor to the Hokage, however all he really cares about is the new, strangely peaceful life he has carved out with his brother, and their journey to recover their bond. But the new Hokage seems to have a problem with Itachi, and Itachi for his part has never backed down from a challenge…

Summary
Across all worlds and dimensions, Itachi's love has always remained a constant.
Itachi dies following his plan for the brother he loves above all else. Faced with the choice to repent or suffer, he realizes the time for action has arrived. To free the different versions of himself who seek to save their precious siblings bound in one place, he must stop the force holding them there, even if it means running the risk of disappearing from existence altogether.

Summary
"But he just couldn't bring himself to kill his little brother." Obito had said to Sasuke.
What if, when the time came, Sasuke, too, couldn’t bring himself to kill his older brother? What if he chose to save Itachi's life instead of letting him die that fateful day? How would their lives be different?
Theirs is the story of endurance and forgiveness and unfathomable love. How would Itachi function in a world he didn't die and was forced to see the brother who loved him, despite everything. Could he ever forgive himself? Was healing possible for someone like him? Could Itachi and Sasuke move past their past and start their life anew?
The warnings are for some of the chapters and the themes within the story, which might not be suitable for everyone.

Summary
What if.
Such a powerful question.
What if they found him. What if he wasn’t fine.
What if they were wrong. What if he was lying?
What if they should have known. What if they couldn’t.
What if, all along, they found out he’d been human?

Canon-divergent, (we are making it worse, naturally) set initially during Ep. 122, the start of the Itachi Retrieval Arc.
In which Absolutely none of it goes according to plan, and more or less Kakashi becomes Itachi’s caretaker due to suddenly advancing illness that causes his partner to abandon him quite literally on the teams doorstep. MUCH cognitive dissonance ensues. (Summary updated 05/29 — thank you Tumblr for reminding me!)
