Summary
“What are you doing?” Jinx yells, her voice suddenly coming alive. Panic and confusion war in her eyes as she twists to look at him, the wind stealing her voice as soon as it escapes her mouth. “This was only supposed to be me!”
“Yeah, well,” Ekko shouts back, heart in his throat. “I couldn’t let you leave me again.”
He reaches for the pull string one more time as the floor rises up faster and faster. He grips onto her with all of his strength, and prays that the anomaly will have enough juice to save them both. As he finally pulls he doesn’t notice the crack running up the side of the glass, or the ominous tick as his stopwatch ticks past the red line he’d drawn with one of Powder’s oil crayons.
Pull. Reverse.
OR
Ekko accidentally brings him and Jinx back to before it all began. Now, they have to struggle to fix the mistakes of the past while figuring out how to heal. But, hey, at least they're together.

Soon, it would be an all-out war. There was no more time for treaties, no more time for talk, Jinx knows any day now, Enforcers could show up again. Sevika’s been getting tenser by the day, her posture growing stiffer and her comments snappier. She disappears more now than before.
“Pops left a vacuum,” Jinx says quietly, staring down at her stub of a finger, “Smeech is gone. Only Margot and Chross left. And you, I guess.”
“And you,” Sevika corrects, but not cruelly, “you’re his daughter.”
(or, jinx becomes the savior of zaun, she doesn't know how to cope with the newfound responsibility)
