Summary
Jayce hurried down the halls of the academy, praying and hoping Viktor would be where he left him. He swung the door open with a loud bang, disrupting Skye at her workstation.
“Vitya,” he breathed, “I think I fucked up.”
He laid eyes on the shorter man, hip propped up against a desk with a cup of coffee in hand and the morning’s paper in another.
“It would seem so, my love.” Viktor replied, not looking up from the newspaper, “I’m reading about it right now.”
“It’s already in the paper?” Jayce questioned frantically.
Aka Jayce and Viktor get married during the time skip between act 1 and 2 and nobody knows about it until they do.

Summary
“This is...very different,” he murmured, his accent thick and rolling around the words as if testing them on his tongue. “What’s gotten into you?”
“Would it really be so bad,” Jayce began, speaking against the edge of Viktor’s lapel. “To share a name along with our dreams? Because I’d gladly take yours if you’d give it to me.”
Jayce's attempts at getting Viktor out of the lab lead to the pair becoming regulars at a coffee shop near the bridge. Things go well until an innocent misunderstanding nearly throws a cog into everything they've built between them.

Viktor rolled his eyes while Jayce looked on, amazed at her prophecy.
“And then…” she turned her gaze to Viktor. “You turn into a robot!” cried out the fortune teller, falling back in fear. “A terrifying robot bent on taking over the world!”
“Eh, sounds fake,” said Viktor.
“Viktor, don't be rude!” said Jayce, but starting to feel a bit doubtful at this point.
