The Alpha Pack was sent by the Magic Council to evaluate the Hale Pack and they had helped them out with the Darach. During their stay in Beacon Hills, Marin became Stiles" mentor and Stiles may have developed kind of a crush on Deucalion. But Stiles hasn"t seen them since then.
Five years later, Stiles also works for the Magic Council and runs into them at the annual convention. The hotel is overbooked though and Stiles finds himself without a room. Until Deucalion offers to share his room.

During a mission, the pack has to rest for the night. The motel they end up in is so overbooked that three of them have to share one room each. Stiles has the questionable luck of rooming with their mated Alpha pair, on whom he has the hugest crush.
Surely, this will be fine. No need to worry about the fact that the room only has one bed.
