“This… this is going to sound super weird,” Max chuckled nervously as he raked through his hair. “But… fucking hell. Do you remember Miami last month? When I dreamt that you would crash in qualifying, and you did?”
Charles nodded. He had no idea why he was referring to this dream all of a sudden.
“What if it’s the same this time?”
Charles arched his eyebrows so high, he was sure they vanished under his hairline. He glared at Max, unsure whether this was supposed to be a joke or if he was dead serious.
Maybe all of this was a dream, and in a minute Charles would wake up, covered in sweat with Max sound asleep next to him. Maybe the hot and humid weather was slowly getting into Max’ head as well. Maybe Max had lost his mind. Maybe he should whip out his phone and google about it. There was a good chance someone had once, ten or more years ago, posted a question on Reddit:
“My boyfriend thinks I’m pregnant, but I am a dude. Is this a sign that he’s losing his marbles?”
or, Charles' and Max' life is turned upside-down in the best way possible, when they find out that they are expecting.

The consistent dropping of birth rates all around the globe has left the world in shambles and made room for many right wing political parties to gain power.
Omegas are legally considered property of their alpha mate or pack alpha and are left with zero to no rights.
Fueled by this, the number of omega breeding rings is skyrocketing, the illegal trade with pups soaring. There are daily reports of omegas going missing, never to turn up again.Until one of them does, and Max takes on the responsibility of housing this omega and gaining his trust.

Summary
The 2024 Formula 1 season starts off amazing! Charles wins the first race of the season and might have a competitive car.
But when the FIA bans heat suppressants for Formula 1 drivers Charles has limited options for how he wants to handle his heat just a week before one of the most important races of the season. When his lifelong rival Max offers to help him, against his better judgment, Charles agrees.Unfortunately Charles and Max didn't realize how much their past would affect an arrangement like that, and their relationship quickly gets as messy as the 2024 Formula 1 season.
Told in dual POV from Charles and Max's perspectives. Settle in this one's gonna take a while.

“Are you done bothering this guy? I didn’t think blonds were your thing.” Pierre says through a mouthful of pizza, causing Charles’ eyes to go wide and dart back to Max, who is finding the whole situation rather amusing.
“Merci, Pierre, this is Max Verstappen who works at Vasseur’s and he is Dutch. He has been boring me with his whole life story.”
