In 2015, an apocalypse that's not Third Impact occurs. 15,600 residents of Tokyo-3 make an Exodus to another Earth, emerging in Hakone of a world that's history diverged from their own decades before, a world where Second Impact never occurred, a world much like our own. Now, four years later, in Japan and America the surviving members of NERV try to make a life for themselves.
