If it weren't for Lan Wangji's keen eyes and quick reflex, Wei Wuxian would have dropped the bowl of soup he was holding already.
"Go back to Yunmeng? Why is Zewu-jun suddenly telling me to go back to Yunmeng? I'm married to Lan Zhan. Cloud Recesses is my home." The exasperated sighs and chokes could be heard in the hall; all sect's seniors and disciples getting embarrassed on Wei Wuxian's behalf for his open declaration. Even Lan Qiren looked like he didn't wanna stay there any longer, his cheeks sporting a hue of red that if one didn't know any better would think he had taken a spicy beef broth instead of the Lan Clan's medicinal soup.
Lan Xichen, the ever graceful man, merely smiled gently as he set down his cup.
"Jiang Sect Leader, Jiang Cheng, had asked for you to come. He said that Lady Jin will be coming back to visit along with her husband and their son, and she wanted you to be there as well."
or, where Wei Wuxian went to his abode in Yunmeng with his husband for a short trip, without knowing there are people in the Cloud Recesses waiting patiently for his return home.
