Summary
In the past, Mount Hua was relatively quiet even with far more people. Alcohol was well hidden, and qi pills abundant as the stars. Peace was rarely given even with the sect a safe haven from wars outside.
Often, Cheongmyeong found himself in various cities to drink, but the memories became hazy, with entire years wholly forgotten. But he remembered knowing it all before, knowing why, in one battle, he was screaming with enough ferocity to tear the world in two.
Perhaps it didn’t even matter what once was. Mount Hua had changed yet failed to lose its name, nearly opposite to all in the past but the same deadly petals and spirit.
He couldn’t figure out the thing he felt was missing the most from the description.
