Phraesto did not spare a thought for Berial’s fate, as far as he was concerned the Hypogean deserved everything that was coming to him. He had longed himself to kill the mouthy clown who had made his life a misery as he struggled to free himself from the weakening seal that had served as his prison for millennia. To be forced to listen to the endless stream of prattle that spewed from Berial had been yet another agony to endure.
