"Me? What about-" his voice trailed off as a pain in his chest reminded him that Bryce was gone. That was his fault. And, as the intersect incident showed, Bryce hadn't really had anyone other than him.
"Bryce Larkin is dead and there is no one else," the Marshal charged with speaking said. -
