Din Djarin needed a ship. Not just any ship - that would have been easy. The Razor Crest, regrettably, had been perfect. There just weren't enough Republic-era unregistered crafts in good condition around to be picky, but he wanted to be. He thought his luck had started to turn when he stumbled upon another Razor Crest, but leasing it came with some complications, and a permanent occupant. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to share the ship. He could use the help.

in which Han Solo, just after the events of TFA, wakes up an eight-year-old on Corellia, levels up a lot in Force-sensitivity, and accidentally becomes a padawan to Obi-wan Kenobi. oh, and he has to make sure baby-Vader and the senator get together and conceive Luke and Leia ASAP, that's top priority here.

Summary
In the immediate aftermath of Order 66, Captain Rex and Ahsoka Tano find themselves broken and defeated, with nothing anchoring them to the world except their friendship and devotion to one another. As they try to make their way in a galaxy now run by the Empire, they struggle to remain safe and hidden while finding a purpose for life beyond just surviving.
Staying together is all Rex cares about. But without the war to occupy his mind, he finds that space being filled with intense, new feelings for Ahsoka. He already cares about her deeply but these new emotions start to complicate their already complicated lives.

She stepped closer to him. “I’ve met you, over and over again. Men like you. Men who feel protected behind their fancy armour or shields…” She was right in front of him now, barely space for a sheet of metal between them. One of her hands trailed up his breastplate, while her eyes stayed locked on his, finding them perfectly under the helmet. “You think nothing can hurt you under your beskar, don’t you, Mandalorian?”
He felt the knife before he saw it, in her other hand, which had travelled unnoticed up his side. She pressed harder, angling it underneath the armour. His hands moved instantly, gripping her arms painfully, but she stilled, not fighting his hold. “You forget … the rest of us have had time to find the weak spots.”
Her hand moved before he could see it, coming up to encircle one of his wrists. The knife didn’t move. She leaned in even closer.
“I could kill you right now if I wanted to, Mandalorian.”
