Summary
This is a very weird fic. While Varian worked in the Demanitus Chamber, he invented a machine to take people to other realms. When fighting with Cass over the Demanitus Scroll, the button to activate the portal is accidently pushed, and the gang falls onto Castanet Island. What will happen to the crew on their stay at Castanet Island? Will they be able to reconcile with Cass?

As Mario rode the boat to Rougeport, that email from Goombella ran through his head over and over again.
"And... There is one thing that kind of weighed on me and I never got to express to you. See, I... Well... Maybe that's best kept a secret."
He wasn't dumb. Maybe reckless at times, but not dumb.
The implications of that email were clear. And it's not like they were talking in person, and she chickened out. She TYPED that out.
If she had decided against confessing altogether, she could've erased that entire part of the email and left no trace. But she didn't. She left those clues for Mario, almost teasing him with that last sentence.
